Product validation & early stage pivoting

Learn the best practices for validating your product and tips on how to pivot based on early validation and feedback.

Before launching any product, it’s important to validate your hypotheses about what the product is, who will want to use it, and how it will fit into their lives.

This validation can be done through a variety of means, including user interviews, surveys, through a variety of product experiments.

If the feedback is positive and confirms your hypotheses (fails to invalidate it), then you can move forward with more confidence. However, if the feedback is negative or indicates that your product is not ready for launch, then you may need to pivot in order to improve the product. Early stage pivoting can be difficult, but it’s important to persevere and continue experiments until you find a product that resonates with users.
